I am currently working on a challenge that was presented by one of my favorite online apps, Gumroad.
It's called the Small Product Lab: A challenge to build a small product, share it online, and publish it to a paying audience in 10 days!
Though I'm working on the launch of my book, I will take out about a week or so to get this done. I like challenges like this.
They get you fired up a bit, and it also involves other people, which makes it also fun, and you get to learn from a lot of other people working on different products, too.
Speaking of that, I just saw an article by Nathan Kontny Of Highrise that I want to share. Here it is below.
Nothing
is a waste of time if done to learn a new skill. If you read any of
the books on learning, like Talent
Code, the trick is to practice deliberately and in small feedback
loops that don’t kill you. Do you know much about paid ads and
conversion optimization? Then that’s a great way to learn about
them. Just time box it. Don’t spend many resources on this step
